I hate smoking. I consider it to be attempted suicide and possibly attempted murder. Okay, not that bad but still, you get the idea. My proposal is to outlaw all tobacco products, just like marijuana, LSD, heroine, and cocaine. I know that may seem rather extreme to some but it is the only way to stop the scurge that is smoking and chewing tobacco from kiling hundreds of thousands of people each year.
Now, i also have a problem with alcohol. Drunk driving kills thousands each year and America needs to take drastic action. On those lines, i want to put one of those breathilizer ignition things that they give drunk drivers, that prevents them from starting their car if they have an alcohol content above .08, in every new car sold in the US. All cars, of any kind, sold in the US should have one of those built in. That way, no more drunk driving accidents. Wouldn't that be better?
I am an advocate of personal rights and civil liberties, but when it comes to activities that unnecessarily endanger others lives, i say enough. Second-hand smoke is more harmful than primary smooke. Due to that fact, i want smoking banned, because it harms those around the smoker. With alcohol, people die every day that have never taken a sip of alcohol in their lives because of stupid people who drink too much and then get in their car and kill people. I'm sorry but the easiest way to stop that is the way i detailed above.
